2006 Uncirculated SAE - W Mint
 

Is anyone still waiting to receive their order of the Uncirculated 2006 SAE with the W mint mark (mint Product # Z6F) that the Mint started selling on September 28th?

I wasn't too worried about ordering when they started to sell because I thought there would be plenty of time, based upon this mint quote "Note: The American Eagle Silver Uncirculated Coin will also be available as an individual option beginning September 28, 2006. This coin will be minted to demand."

I didn't order any until 11-08 because I thought minted to demand meant they would mint as many as the public wants to buy. I don't know when they cut off the sales of these coins, but do know it was well after my order.

Is anybody still waiting on their order, and when did you order?

I called the mint and they said they are still working on getting them out, but I am starting to worry a little.

By way of follow up, my order from Nov 8th has had its "expected" ship date changed for the third time now. It is now March 7th.

I called the Mint and was told that the problem with shipping these coins was because of an unexpected problem arising with packaging materials. I was told that I would definitely get the coins as soon as they get the materiel problem resolved.

I also noticed on the Mint Website under "Product Schedule" that they will be releasing the "American Eagle Uncirculated Coins" in March/April. So, apparently they are going to go again with the W Mint with the Gold and Silver Eagle, for 2007.

After waiting 3 months. I just got the two I ordered back on October 20th, last week.
